Owner Steve Deal started Xylem Designs in 2009 and has been working in the landscaping field since 2000. His resume includes a master’s degree, from the University of Minnesota, in Landscape Architecture. First job out of school was with Metro Blooms, where he consulted and designed rain gardens across the metro area.  Xylem Designs emerged as a result of a partnership with several Minnesota Conservation Districts as part of their rain garden and shoreline buffers/restoration programs.  From there Xylem Designs grew into a full service landscape business servicing the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
